"One of the main attractions of BDO Simpson Xavier was it is a well known international firm. You get exposure to a good training programme and strong career development opportunities. You experience the workings of every aspect of business and dealing with large clients enables you to see the larger business picture. I now specialise in accounting and finance recruitment and am responsible for all graduate recruitment for BDO secondments to external multinational companies.

You also get to work very closely with senior staff members from the outset. I have gained a large amount of knowledge from senior staff members in BDO. I have also been given the opportunity to take part in many in-house and external training programmes. I have learned how to interact with clients as I have been given the authority to deal with them directly.

Working in recruitment is a varied and very challenging career. No two days at work are the same. I work with different clients all the time and get to meet with a large number of candidates on a weekly basis.
